"It is the summer before middle school and despite our tireless efforts and countless tutors, our son, despite his best efforts, could not read fluently, with comprehension or with anything approaching reasonable speed. This adversely affected each and every subject. We reached out to Dr. Allison Egert, based on her excellent reputation and out of a sense of desperation. She agreed to take our son on and she was and continues to be no less of a miracle worker. Within a short time, our son was reading more fluently and with greater comprehension, all at a reasonably good pace. Dr. Egert changed positively not only our son's educational journey and his self-confidence but his future outlook. He went on to take a rigorous high school schedule, including honors English as well as AP Language. None of this would be possible without Dr. Egert's commitment and expertise. She was quick to understand and identify our son's challenges and even quicker to find a solution. As a result, he became an avid reader and a student who reads critically and analytically. We owe Dr. Egert an immeasurable debt of gratitude.

"Dr. Allison had the utmost confidence and faith in me that I will succeed in spite of my dyslexia. I did! She saw my strengths, not my disabilities."

Jill has been working with our daughter who has a language processing disorder for seven years. Jill was able to evaluate her at 3 1/2 and has been instrumental in the progress we have seen both educationally and socially. Jill is compassionate, has patience and is very intuitive when dealing with children. Her ability to work on both the cognitive and social aspects of communication by developing detailed treatment plans encompassing evaluations and goal setting has been critical to our daughter moving forward in school and life. From consulting with educators or health care professionals Jill has been a tremendous advocate for our daughter. We would be lost without her.
